Quartz (variety red quartz).
JFD115AO3: Quartz (variety red quartz)
One of Aouli's specialties: Quartz with a first generation of blood-red color and a second generation of totally colorless Quartz that allows the underlying red first generation to be seen very well. Curiously, Aouli's fame is not derived from these quartzes but from fluorites, which do not actually come from there but rather from the deposits of Sidi Ayad and Chebka Sidi Said.

Quartz (variety red quartz).
TV47AB2: Quartz (variety red quartz)
A novelty at Tucson 2015. Quite different from other Quartz samples previously collected at the same area by its morphology, with a wide development of one of the pyramidal faces and by the Hematite distribution, both as coatings and as inclusions that occupy most of the Quartz crystal’s interior and by a second generation of small crystals.
Toufassmame (Izizauen), Alnif Commune, Tinghir Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region  Morocco (01/2015)
Specimen size: 7 × 5.5 × 3.4 cm = 2.76” × 2.17” × 1.34”

Quartz (variety red quartz).
TK67AB2: Quartz (variety red quartz)
A novelty at Tucson 2015. Quite different from other Quartz samples previously collected at the same area by its morphology, forming a parallel growth of very thick crystals and by the Hematite, both as fine coatings and as inclusions that occupy part of the Quartz crystal’s interior.
Toufassmame (Izizauen), Alnif Commune, Tinghir Province, Drâa-Tafilalet Region  Morocco (01/2015)
Specimen size: 10.7 × 6 × 5.9 cm = 4.21” × 2.36” × 2.32”

Quartz (variety red quartz).
TC89AB2: Quartz (variety red quartz)
A novelty at Tucson 2015. Quite different from other Quartz samples previously collected at the same area by its morphology, with a very wide growth of one of the pyramidal and two parallel prismatic faces, and by the Hematite, both as fine coatings and as inclusions that occupy part of the Quartz crystal’s interior.
This specimen has been photographed and published as a novelty at the 2015 Tucson Show in the magazine "Lapis" number 03/2015, page 27 and in the magazine ‘Mineralogical Record’ on page 456, volume 46, number 3

Quartz (variety red quartz) with Magnetite.
LE36AK2: Quartz (variety red quartz) with Magnetite
Quartz crystals with an unusual habit, curious "double" rhombohedral terminations, brilliant, bright red due to inclusions of Hematite and partially recrystallized. The specimen is one of the few that could be recovered in Magnetite matrix. From the Philippe Morelon collection (No. 593), whose catalogue entry we will send to the buyer.
Second Sovetskii Mine, 230↓, Dalnegorsk, Dalnegorsk Urban District, Primorsky Krai  Russia

Quartz (variety red quartz) with Quartz.
EB66AG6: Quartz (variety red quartz) with Quartz
Between 1997 and 1998 there appeared in the 2nd Sovietskii Mine from Dalnegorsk specimens of red Quartz with a very different habit from the usual, elongated, crisscrossed, and forming very "sculptural" groups. Although at that time it was thought that they would continue to come out, as soon as they appeared they disappeared and they have not been seen again. From that extraordinary time we have rescued this elegant specimen in which the red Quartz is partially covered with white Quartz.
Second Sovetskii Mine, Dalnegorsk, Dalnegorsk Urban District, Primorsky Krai  Russia (±1998)
Specimen size: 17.5 × 9.3 × 6.8 cm = 6.89” × 3.66” × 2.68”

Quartz (variety red quartz) with Quartz.
EA62AL5: Quartz (variety red quartz) with Quartz
Groups of red Quartz crystals, elongated, many of them doubly terminated, intergrown, and forming very "sculptural" groups - a very different habit from the usual. Finds of this type of Quartz in Dalnegorsk were quite ephemeral and as they appeared, they quickly disappeared too, so it is not easy to get such elegant specimens as this one. The red Quartz is partially covered by a second generation of white Quartz.
Second Sovetskii Mine, 230↓, Dalnegorsk, Dalnegorsk Urban District, Primorsky Krai  Russia (±1998)
Specimen size: 15.5 × 11.4 × 6.4 cm = 6.10” × 4.49” × 2.52”

Main crystal size: 3.4 × 0.25 cm = 1.34” × 0.10”

Quartz with Hematite inclusions.
EBC37AQ0: Quartz with Hematite inclusions

Red Quartz with Sphalerite.
EJ38D5: Red Quartz with Sphalerite
Well, I feel that the photo says everything. Maybe I should just add that the matrix is not Quartz but Sphalerite with some well formed crystals. As is well known, the small white areas on the red crystals are a second generation of white Quartz.
Second Sovetskii Mine, Dalnegorsk, Dalnegorsk Urban District, Primorsky Krai  Russia (2001)
Specimen size: 6.5 × 6.5 × 6.4 cm = 2.56” × 2.56” × 2.52”
